What is the name of your group? In addition, how did your group get its name?
Rhythmology Dance Company. Rhythmology’s name is based from two of our inspirations Formality (San Diego, CA) and Funkanometry (San Francisco, CA). Since Rhythmology was created by students at the time, Rhythm was based from the “study of rhythm.” Hence, Rhythmology.   

What is the history of your group? In addition,why did your group form? 
Rhythmology Dance Company was established in 2003 and is supported by the artistic supervision of their founder, Will Barrientos and is currently directed by Kevin Alvarez and Krystle Tiburcio. This 30 member team quickly gained recognition through performing at various events in their hometown, out of town, various colleges and organizations. Rhythmology has also participated and placed in numerous dance competitions. 

What is your group’s hometown? 
Rhythmology is located in Bergenfield, NJ

What do you feel are your group’s greatest accomplishments to date? 
Our greatest accomplishment to date would be hosting our very own annual dance competition, Defining Rhythm, which will be held again in April 2012. 

Why does your group continue to dance? 
Rhythmology continues to dance in order to inspire their junior team as well as others within and outside the dance community. And also simply, we love to dance. 

Why should the others support your group? 
Others should support Rhythmology because we love to have fun! We are a family oriented team and enjoy each others company and if you support fun and entertainment, support Rhythm! :)
